Outpost Gallifrey reports that Australia's Film Finance Corporation has approved funding for the K9 series that has been in development for some time. It is still 26 episodes and now titled simply "K9". Network Ten, an Australian channel that currently airs Torchwood, has signed on to help with the budget in exchange for airing the series, as noted in C21 Media. |
BBC Entertainment has just begun airing Series 2 of Doctor Who in many countries on the Asian continent. Multiple airings on Saturdays and Sundays. |

SciFi's Friday Who lineup (subject to change - there's already been one change): through August 3 (Evolution Of The Daleks) - 9PM and 11PM EDT/PDT August 10 only (The Lazarus Experiment) - 8PM and Midnight EDT/PDT (two showings of the 90 minute Flash Gordon premiere between these airings) starting August 17 (42) - 8PM and 1AM EDT/PDT August 31 - pre-empted for Labor Day weekend programming |

The CBC is expected to have 4 episodes up at once, with new episodes arriving the day after their Canadian premieres.
